Konami has set the official release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for September 1st, 2015. Due to a leak by a NeoGAF user yay for privacy! According to
Eurogamer Konami actually confirmed the rumor today that the release date was true for the console versions of the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain but not true for the PC version of MGSV. The PC version will release on September 15th instead of September 1st for reasons unknown at this time.
I’d imagine that since the PC version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is the superior version it just takes more time to craft it, baste it in butter and smooth it over with that next generation super sauce. MMM!! You can buy MGSV for fifty dollars on last generation consoles and it’s sixty dollars on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. GTN will be getting it on PC. GTN is not 7 and can wait. – Craig Of GTN
