Oculus Rift Founder Palmer Luckey Facing Fraud Lawsuit
Oculus Rift founder Palmer Luckey finds himself in another lawsuit this time against Total Recall Technologies (no no the movie). The company in question is Total Recall Technologies. TRT says in its filing that it hired Luckey in 2011 to create a prototype virtual reality
headset he even signed a confidentiality agreement, the lawsuit says.
Total Recall Technologies is seeking compensatory and punitive damages. However, a specific dollar amount was not mentioned in the suit. The lawsuit claims Luckey committed breach of contract and fraud.
This is not the only incident Palmer Luckey was involved in. A year ago this week, Fallout parent publisher ZeniMax accused Oculus VR of stealing virtual reality technology that would later become the Rift.
