Star Fox Zero has hit a snag along the way. Now Shigeru Miyamoto posted a message explaining the delay on Facebook he said more obviously this is just an excerpt of the tasty bits.
“We have been developing Star Fox Zero for Wii U with the aim of releasing it this year. Although we felt that the development had been progressing well, we now believe that we will need a little more time to work on areas such as the unprecedented discovery that we want players to experience in the game by using two screens, and further polishing the level designs and perfecting the tone of the cut scenes. While we have already reached the stage where it would be technically possible to release the title in time for the year-end holiday season, we want to polish the game a bit more so that players will be able to more smoothly grasp the new style of play that we are proposing.
To the people looking forward to the launch of the game this holiday season, I am very sorry.”
As of right now Star Fox Zero is being listed for release March 2016. We shall see if that changes in the future.
Kabam and Machine Zone have settled their differences for now, Mobile developers Machine Zone and Kabam have halted the legal dispute with both companies releasing a joint statement saying they have “amicably resolved the matter.”
This all happened when Machine Zone CEO Gabe Leydon and Kabam’s Daniel Wiggins confronted each other about Machine Zone’s performance. In the exchange Wiggins claims that he’d had access to confidential Machine Zone data which spurred the lawsuit to begin with. As far as everyone knows this is over.

Starcraft 2: Legacy of The Void release date has been announced as well as some new information about the new expansion. This information was disclosed at the StarCraft 2 World Championships Series Season 3 Finals, held in Krakow, Poland.
Legacy of The Void is following up on the Heart of The Swarm side of the storyline. It will also feature new units for multiplayer and Blizzard is introducing Archon Mode letting a pair of players share a single base while fighting against other opponents. I’m sure communication will take a huge part in this.

Square Enix Europe CEO Phil Rogers says the game Hitman fans play on day one won’t be an “unfinished” game.
“We want to keep the business model very simple. There’s going to be one price, so we’re not talking microtransactions, and it allows us to evolve the content itself… Gamers don’t want unfinished content, so we’re being very clear. This is going to be AAA, polished Hitman as you’d expect. But we can continue to create experiences, so the world only expands. We’re experimenting.”
Hitman is due out later this year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC across digital channels. It will release on physical disc in 2016.
A Washington state court ruled against the defendant Ed Nash/Altius Management have been ordered that $54,851 be paid in civil fines, fees and restitution to backers the kickstarted campaign taking all the lovely chocolate, (well maybe not the chocolate), actual playing card game, and backer rewards which were never delivered.
Ferguson says,
“Washington state will not tolerate crowdfunding theft,” stated Ferguson in a press release announcing the ruling back in July. “If you accept money from consumers, and don’t follow through on your obligations, my office will hold you accountable.” The release then goes on to encourage people in similar situations to file complaints with their state’s attorney general.
This is a real black eye on crowdfunding in general and better verification should be taken place to prevent this course of action from happening as much as possible in the future.
Lots of news buzzin about in minecrafty land. Microsoft and Mojang has recently announced as part of the 0.12.1 update is ‘the ability for “up to five friends to play cross-platform multiplayer on a local network.” These players can be spread across Minecraft: Pocket Edition for iOS and Android, as well as Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta.
There’s other things you can do as well with this new update Microsoft continues by saying
“You’ll also be treated to the same enhanced weather effects that Windows 10 Edition Beta players have received, including snow accumulation and directional rain,”
“In addition to plenty of new goodies to build and potions to brew, you’ll now be able to encounter golems and ocelots, and even explore the Nether. Finally, this update brings the ability to sneak and sprint in Pocket Edition.”
Cross Platform is a interesting prospect and after the beginning issues are worked out who knows where this could lead.
