At the Gearbox PAX panel Randy Pitchford too park in a unusual ceremony. Michael and Melanie Refuerzo got married at the end of Gearbox’s PAX panel in front of fans and even some cosplayers on stage.
Melanie said shortly after the ceremony.
“When we got together and started playing games together I had it on my console. So I went to go cook dinner and he popped on my Xbox and went ‘okay, I’ll just play this.'”
Michael adds.
“I just started playing it right there and was like ‘hey, this game’s pretty awesome.’ And we just started playing a co-op game together splitscreen,”
Michael and Melanie both credit Borderlands to the existence of their relationship.
“That’s when I found out that she was a gamer,” Michael laughed. “She has a higher Gamerscore than me. So I obviously had to trump that somehow.”
Melanie had some pretty kick ass vows too.
“I couldn’t have found a better person for me, especially since you came up with this crazy plan for our wedding and shared our passion for gaming,” Melanie said during her wedding vows. “I pledge to be faithful, patient and supportive always. I promise to love and respect you. You’re the Roland to my Lilith and there’s nobody I’d rather spend my life with.”
This is a lovely example of how gaming can truly bring people together. We wish Michael and Melanie the best of luck.

People pretty much know the whole schlock filled way Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is treating the micro-transaction aspect when it comes to the PVP or better known as the Forward Operating base or FOB. MB coins can be purchased for anywhere from $2.00 to upwards of $80. At the time there is no way to actually earn MB coins in game. It seems to be locked behind a paywall much to many gamers distaste.
The Phantom Pain launches on September 1 for console and PC.

Talking all things gaming with the traditional flair of insanity.Every Monday Rumandapples dives into news analysis about the gaming industry including Microsoft’s Xbox One, Xbox 360, Sony’s PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 Nintendo Wii U, PC, Independent games, entertainment, even MMA and pro wrestling.
Jimmy Kimmel recently made the gamers angry with his recent comments of the youtube gaming and poking fun at the concept.
“To me, watching another person play video games is like going to a restaurant and having someone eat your food for you,” he said. “If you like them, play them.”
Kimmel also described youtube gaming in less than favorable terminology.
“we should all be very ashamed of ourselves for failing as parents channel.”
Jimmy Kimmel did admit he was getting old and his statement about his experience watching people play video games confirms it.
Jimmy Kimmel says.
” When I was a kid, the only time I watched people play video games is when I ran out of quarters for an arcade machine.”
That sounds like a joke something a comedian would say. More of a personal firsthand experience and a jab at his own bias to culture. Gamers are very upset by this and have been very vocal in telling him so. Jimmy Kimmel has no impact on gamers from stopping them to watch a live-stream or participate in youtube gaming. Kimmel has no impact on the gaming industry at all.
This sounds like a comedian out of touch with the video game hobby, not a man with an agenda to destroy gaming for everyone.

Facebook is working on bringing a artificial intelligence personal digital assistant “M,” to the Facebook Messenger app.
Facebook executive David Marcus says M is part human, part robot.
“It’s powered by artificial intelligence that’s trained and supervised by people,”
What makes M different is the ability to not only retrieve information but to complete purchases or book appointments on your behalf, and some other things as well.
“It can purchase items, get gifts delivered to your loved ones, book restaurants, travel arrangements, appointments, and way more.”
An in-development version of M is already coming out being given to select users. Marcus acknowledged and says that it’s still early days for M, but he is optimistic about its potential as he says in a statement.
“It’s an exciting step towards enabling people on Messenger to get things done across a variety of things, so they can get more time to focus on what’s important in their lives,” he said.
Should Artificial Intelligence like this be continued?
