News: Starcraft II Legacy of The Void News

Good News for Starcraft II fans. Coming from Blizzard is Legacy of The Void.The expansion will include new units and multiplayer changes from Wings of Liberty, plus a continuing campaign on the Protoss species. It will span approximately 20 missions and will be priced as an expansion set.The campaign will focus on Artanis as its main character.

News: Rovio Grabs 2 Million in Copyright Scandal Analysis

Rovio, the Finnish game developer of  the Angry birds franchise, won its court battle with toy vendor Toy Amazon on the grounds of copyright and trademark infringement. United States District Judge Katherine B. Forrest awarded Rovio $2.7 million, which breaks down to $1.2 million for copyright damages and $1.5 million for trademark infringement. Toy Amazon, based in Monterey Park, California, is also barred from further infringement of Rovio’s copyright or trademark.

News: Wii U Virtual Console Gets N64 and DS Games

Some news comes from the desk of Nintendo. They are adding more virtual consoles to the virtual console lineup for the Wii U. The company announced plans to add Nintendo DS and Nintendo 64 titles to the Wii U’s retro library, starting with Yoshi’s Island DS and Super Mario 64 at $10 each. The Wii U will also offer multiple layout options allowing players to play games on the TV, the Wii U Game Pad, or split between the two. Virtual Console N64 games will offer a handful of control schemes to choose from, customization to the button layout, and support for N64 games controller rumble pack.
