Hideo Kojima who is currently working the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain said he is throwing in the towel on the Metal Gear Solid Saga. Kojima spoke his mind in an interview that apparently was hacked by a NeoGAF user from IGN’s website server which also showed the release date of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain which I won’t share with you because I’m not entirely sure it’s credible. Anything that comes from NeoGAF or Kotaku is not creditable ever therefore I’m not linking to them. This is Hideo Kojima’s words on the subject:
“I always say this will be my last Metal Gear, but the games in the series that I’ve personally produced – Metal Gear on MSX, Metal Gear 2, Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, 3, 4 and Peace Walker – and now Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroe’s & The Phantom Pain will end the single Metal Gear saga. With Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. I’m finally closing the loop on that Metal Gear saga. In that sense, this will be the final Metal Gear Solid. To me, this is the last Metal Gear Solid.” – Hideo Kojima
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released in 2015 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
