News: Valve & HTC to Make Virtual Reality Headsets

Taiwanese based smartphone company HTC has announced Vive, a new virtual reality headset that will use Valve’s virtual reality technology. Specs wise the device offers 1200 x 1080 resolution for each eye, 90 frames per second refresh rate granting supposed “photo-realistic imagery.” On top of the device, you’ll also find a variety of ports for connecting the device to other gadgets, including your computer. Sensors are found on the front of the headset with, on board sensors such as a gyrosensor, accelerometer and laser, which can accurately track the movement of your head and improve the virtual reality experience.
