Feature: DO NOT BUY BATMAN ARKHAM KNIGHT GAMERS!

Hey Gamers! Guess what? It’s time for a public service announcement! I’m afraid I have been forced to do this due to what I’ve witnessed about the new upcoming title from Rocksteady Studios called Batman: Arkham Knight! Everywhere I look about this game all I see is “OMG SO AMAZING!” “OMG BATMOBILE!” WOOOOOOOOO! MUST BUY PREORDER SEASON PASS! WOOO I’m a fucking tool!… gamers.. I must share this with you. The horribly misguided and confused over hype that I and others have been witnessing for Batman: Arkham Knight will only let you down. I urge you gamers!

Do not pre-order this game. But surely that is not enough! I’m sure you want the reason why? The reason is apparent to me without even much consideration. It’s a Batman game and what I do I mean by that? Every single Batman game looks good on trailers or looks fun to watch. But when you physical sit down and play the game. You realize that the gameplay is made for 4 year olds. Playing Batman is one of the most boring player experiences one could ever have. All you do is go from one point of the map find an enemy cluster and… punch and kick and dodge over and over and over again.

Then after that you would then fly or grapel hook to another enemy cluster and do it all over again. WOOO! It’s boring stale and my god is it ever mind numbing-ly repetitive. The writing in these titles is definitely wrote for 8 year olds and they know it. Hence they needed something that people would be excited about is the Bat mobile and graphics. OMG! Guess what that Batmobile replaces in the Batman video game franchise. Instead of gliding awkwardly and unresponsively around the city like in the previous games you use the batmobile to journey around…. which I understand the concept of driving the batmobile on how it could be fun.

But in a world that is vacant of substance, reason and purpose. It’s defeats the purpose of driving the batmobile or even playing the game. Think about it. Why are you truly driving it? To get to the next cluster of enemies? Pretty lame. Batman: Arkham Knight will leave you wanting an experience that it doesn’t have at all. You’ll waste your time and money buying something that is extremely boring and mediocre. I ask you to question your purchase of this title and hope that you come to a conclusion that is similar to “I’m not wasting my money on this because it will most defiantly suck.” Don’t let pretty graphics sway your wallet. But let the experience of the game be the deciding factor. Open world is a great concept but besides Witcher 3 they are never done right. I’m Dr. Craigheadpro help spread this message by liking the video. If you’re 12 and have blind support of this game in your underdeveloped mind be sure to hit the dislike button and pout in the comments below. Take care and see you all next time.

Desura Parent Company Bad Juju Files For Bankruptcy

Bad Juju Games the parent company of game bundle seller Indie Royale and digital distribution storefront Desura, has filed for bankruptcy. Bad Juju, acquired Desura from Linden Lab late last year, was already behind on payments to game developers. Any further problems to Indie Royale could cause further financial for those waiting to get paid.

Lisa Morrison, head of developer relations at Bad Juju, made a few statements on the subject.

“I asked Tony Novak, CEO of Bad Juju for confirmation and all he could tell me was, ‘The lawyers have said I can’t say anything or answer any questions yet, but yes it’s true.’”

Morrison also made the statement of her shock of the situation.

“I’m just shocked right now…stunned,” she said. “I had no idea this was coming.”

How Bungie Helped Nepal

In April, after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the area in and around Kathmandu in Nepal, killing more than 8,800 people, Bungie is selling limited edition t-shirt, in-game shader and emblem for Destiny, with proceeds going to support relief efforts in the country. Activision
even put some into the pot with a donation of 50,000. This is a wonderful thing to show the rest of the world gamers are wonderful people.
“This was an astounding act of generosity on the part of Bungie and the larger Bungie community, and we at Direct Relief are deeply grateful — beyond what can be expressed in words,” Thomas Tighe, president and CEO of Direct Relief, said in a statement published by Bungie. “Most importantly, the Bungie community’s amazing support will translate immediately and directly into help for people in Nepal who experienced a tremendous blow, are in a very difficult and more vulnerable situation now as monsoon season nears, and also have a long, tough road ahead. Every penny will be spent to help strengthen essential health services that were needed before the earthquakes and much more so now.”

Amazon is Coming For You PC

Amazon is working toward creating it’s first PC game. Amazon Game Studios has been hiring all sorts of talent from the gaming industry, such as Portal, World of Warcraft, and BioShock Half Life 2, Left for Dead, Dota 2, Halo, Infamous, Shadows of Mordor and The Last of Us. It’s not as if these are lesser known titles or games that nobody cared about. This isn’t the first time Amazon made waves in the gaming industry, but it is very ambitions to say the least.

Steam Refunds Thoughts

Discussing the positive and negative possibilities of Steam refunds, and how they have been received so far. Steam refunds can now be requested under almost any circumstance provided players have
1. spent two hours or less with the game
2. owned the game for two weeks or less.
Developers have started reporting stats, some claiming that their refund rate has skyrocketed to anywhere between 30 and 70 percent.

Farming Simulator 2015 XboxOne Review

Here I give you my thoughts on Farming Simulator 2015 for the XboxOne edition, and I explain that the most biggest change to this game and difficult part to get use to will be the controls changing from pc to console. Also that this is a very niche game and can become very tedious if you are not into the types of games because they do their best to make the stuff like harvesting seem like real time instead of instant. I recommend this game mostly for those who enjoy this type of game rather then all gamers.

Until Dawn Gets A Release Date

Until Dawn has finally gotten it’s release date, it has also shown some more faces regarding the cast. Peter Stormare actor of sorts from, Prison Break, The Big Lebowski and Arrow, makes his way into the cast. Right now the game looks good and the premise of controlling the lives of 8 friends isn’t anything to write home to mom about but, if well executed it can be a powerfully made game.  However this is heavily dependent on the writing and we have only caught glimpses of what Until Dawn is hoping to accomplish.
Until Dawn is set for release on August 25th.

Hatred: Civilians on Fire & Human Shields Wuuuuuu!

I was mother f’n blazed on the hanging out on the nimbus clouds when I decided to record some good ol’ HATRED! Yes the lovely game people are winging on about. This is the first of many gameplays featuring the ultra violent game Hatred from Destructive Creations. Watch it for yourself it’s more B movie awesome than “evil vile” killing simulator. Take it as you would a campy horror film like Evil Dead. A horror film with lots of violence we look back on an laugh. The same feeling is what happens when you play as the main character of Hatred. One of the strongest suits is the game’s sound, the ambiance created is one of true gothic tones with the black and white color scheme with limited color makes the actual cold act of killing very visual in an odd but appealing sense. Lots of people have been talking about the problems with the controls but I haven’t found much issue with it, while it does take some getting used to and depending on your preference to using a game pad to keyboard and mouse can affect your experience.

Honestly What did people expect with Hatred? It’s a twin stick shooter that pretty much brought people back to the age of postal and shouldn’t be taken to the seriousness of the degree people are taking it too. While clearly enjoyable and niche demographic, this game gets a recommend.
