News: Gabe Newell Boasts HTC Vive Motion Sickness Percentage

\
Gabe Newell recently stated that there will be 0% of people who will experience motion sickness with the HTC Vive Virtual Reality headset. Using the Lighthouse motion tracking system it has been noted to deliver a give highly precise pictures of what we do in the 3D space, helping our brains cope with the disconnect between actual physical motion and the virtual world we see. Until HTC Vive comes out sometime in 2015, Gabe Newell has a very hard percentage to own up to.

News: Uncharted 4 Delayed Due To The Weakness Of PlayStation 4

Uncharted 4 Delayed PS4

“After spending so many years with Nathan Drake, he means a lot to the team, and telling the climactic chapter of his adventures is a task we don’t take lightly – this game deserves every bit of the attention to detail, precise pacing, and nuanced storytelling Naughty Dog is known for. So we’ve made the difficult choice of pushing the game’s release date. Giving us a few extra months will make certain that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End not only meets the team’s high standards but the high standards that gamers have come to expect from a Naughty Dog title. The team at Naughty Dog will be hands down working through 2015 making sure that Nathan Drake’s story gets the closure it deserves. Come Spring 2016, you and Nate are in for one thrilling, emotional ride.” – Naughty Dog

News: Gamestop Now Accepting Playstation 2 Consoles

Gamestop is now again accepting Playstation 2 console trade-ins. In 2013 we saw the end of the retailer accepting them but has since brought it back as of March 1st because it is said to be “high demand”. As of March 1st. United States GameStop stores offer $25 in store credit who trade in a system with a power cable, AV/cable, and one controller. If you do not have all the cables GameStop will still pay you $20 for the console itself. This is a good idea to bring in some added revenue in resales as Sony Playstation 2 is noted as one of best selling systems of all time and with a massive library for people who play video games to enjoy it all over again.

Feature: Batman: Arkham Knight Gets M Rating Analysis

Batman: Arkham Knight has seen some new confirmation due to the new trailer being released as well as some gameplay. Arkham Knight features villains such as Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, Firefly just to name a few. There is footage of the bat mobile which should provide some padding to the games combat system. Yes the game has recently been given a M rating which really isn’t surprising since developers tuned up the violence and foul language level quite a bit. Remember this folks just because the game has a mature rating doesn’t mean it’s going to be any better than the other installments which haven’t always delivered. There is a new bat suit that looks makes batman look more like a cyborg spawn without the powers but nevertheless a sleek updated appearance for a newer  generation of gamers who might not of been keen to the old Adam West days that many would like to forget while others regale it with joy.

Feature: The Blackwell Series Gets A Positive Review

The Blackwell Series as a whole has been one of intrigue and refreshing enjoyment in the premise of the old school point and click adventure games. While the games individually can falter in different areas, altogether the games as a complete series provide a vast history of a overarching story line narrative and reoccurring spirit character Joey Malone assisting the Blackwell bloodline. This is a good series to play if you enjoy the point and click adventure genre and the developer even goes to the length of putting optional commentary if players so choose wish to hear it.
At the end of the day The Blackwell series will go down as a underrated group of titles from Wadjet Eye Games that truly deserves more notice.

Feature: Indie Game CrossCode is Fascinating

Part of the indie picks on The Rumandapples Show CrossCode by RadicalFish is a Retro 2D action rpg and it’s only relation to The Legend of Zelda by inspiration alone. Lea is a strong female protagonist plus shes mute and like to throw hands like a monster. Very fast paced gameplay, 4 elements to master (pretty much like avatar), based in a world where MMO business is insanely better than in our own. This is worth trying out the demo to see if you want to buy this game. For retro fans you might enjoy this one. Considering there is a free demo out where you can literally try before you buy a practice long forgotten in many ways. CrossCode is at the very least worth your time for that reason along with the energy it brings with it. This feels like a game that was fun to make for the developer and most likely fun for us to enjoy.
