Final Fantasy XIV has registered over 5 million users worldwide. Considering Final Fantasy XIV was not well received in 2010 as the launch was a huge flop commercially. today. It’s called the socialist feminist movement. Now feminism used
to serve a good purpose in the past and is the very reason why I have

and recognize that equality is in fact alive and breathing in America

don’t have equality to get what they want out of politics. To get
sympathy from the public. The media uses it as an outlet to draw
attention to their publications. Hillary Clinton is currently using
it to get votes. Look. This is the United States of America. It’s all
about Equality! Whether you’re a women or a man. Whether your black
red purple yellow or teal. There is a law that gave everyone equality
years ago, it’s fact! Don’t believe me? Well let me present the
evidence then if you don’t believe me. Well! Would you look at this!

Gamestop Scholarship is a Good PR Move
Gamestop and it’s scholarship program (Power to the Scholars scholarship program) have chosen 40 employees to get $2,500 each.
President of Gamer Fund Mike Buskey made a statement.
“Our objective with this program was to encourage our employees and their dependents to achieve their personal and professional goals through higher education.”
“At GameStop we are all about protecting the family, so, we are honored to be able to assist the scholarship recipients in their broader educational journeys, and look forward to seeing where they lead.”
While surely there are some higher ups at Gamestop probably do care about their employees educational goals and assisting them is the right thing to do. However as the saying goes Philanthropy is the newest form of PR.
This is still good for gamestop employees, the scholarship program was created in 2012 and has given more than $485,000 to them.

John Smedley Quits Daybreak For Good & That’s Bad
As many know John Smedley has stepped down as president and CEO of Daybreak altogether.
Daybreak said in a statement.
“On behalf of Daybreak, we wish Smed well in his new endeavors. Any questions regarding his new business should be directed to him.”
After the problems and the huge twitter incident with a Lizard Squad hacker who grounded his plane after placing fake bomb threats, several DDOS attacks which were thought to be closely connected on top of various other cyber crime related offenses. Smedley was very vocal in the lack of punishment given for the crimes.
We wish John Smedley the best of luck in his personal and future endeavors.

Dead Realm Lack of Disclosure May Violate FTC Regulations Thoughts
Dead Realm on first looks doesn’t look like anything more than another passable horror game in the genre. YouTube influencers Adam Montoya (SeaNanners), Tom Cassell (TheSyndicateProject) and Evan Fong (VanossGaming) may be in some trouble when it comes to the realization that none of them have disclosed the very real financial ties to the game or how Cassell and Montoya are actually co-founders of publisher 3Blackdot.
There has been statements made from the Dead Realms publisher but it doesn’t answer the primary problem. Just because the niche audience this game captures knows doesn’t mean an outsider to the game would and could be swayed into believing in a product from a supposed “real” source rather than a co-founder masquerading as a let’s player who doesn’t have a particular agenda when it came to promoting the game itself.
The FTC explains in it’s .com disclosures document.
“Disclosures that are required to prevent an advertisement from being deceptive, unfair, or otherwise violative of a Commission rule, must be presented ‘clearly and conspicuously.” In the case of Dead Realms many of these videos lack clear transparency.
It also says in a follow up FAQ, that single disclosure covering multiple videos is insufficient “because people visiting your site might read individual reviews or watch individual videos without seeing the disclosure on your home page.”
Right now this is still up in the air and unless this issue is sorted soon there will be more problems.
Nintendo Bootleg Amiiqo Falsifies Amiibo Data
Nintendo is not going to be happy about this. The unauthorized Amiiqo is available for pre-order which will allow consumers to spoof Nintendo’s Amiibo figures, tricking a Wii U into thinking that they are corresponding to official Amiibo products.
The Amiiqo comes with ten Amiibo figures which can be used to store up to 200, with an accompanying Android app used to download data for new figures for transferal. That seriously sounds like theft. It’s not entirely clear if the Amiiqo is violating intellectual property or copyright laws but, Nintendo will definitely not appreciate this sort of thing.
Interestingly enough the official Amiiqo.co.uk website is registered from an anonymous service to a guesthouse in Tokyo. This doesn’t paint the company in a good way at all.
Nintendo Files Patent For Disc-Less System
Nintendo filed for a patent on a disc-less system with the United States Patent and Trademark Office in February 2015.
“An example system includes an internal hard disk drive storing a program and/or data, a communication unit transmitting/receiving a program and/or data via a network, and a processor executing a program stored in the hard disk drive to perform game processing,” the application reads before getting to the key part: “The example system is not provided with an optical disk drive for reading out a program and/or data from an optical disk.”
Most likely we shouldn’t feed to much into this, it could be some time before this is made to completion. Interestingly enough when you think of card slots don’t you kind of associate that with a SD card? Interesting to say the least and worth keeping an eye on. Could this be the NX? Doubtful but completely in the realm of possibility.

Two Armed Men Arrested After Threatening Pokemon Event Thoughts
18 year old Kevin Norton and 27 year old James Stumbo of Iowa have been arrested for allegedly making threats on social media against the Pokemon World Championships in Boston. What strike a little odd is both men were on “Masters Division” of the tournament for the Pokemon Trading Card game. The very same championship they were supposedly threatening. They were arrested at a Saugus, Mass. hotel and were charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and other firearm related charges.
Here is the report from the Boston Police Department.
“On Thursday, August 20, 2015, members of the Boston Regional Intelligence Center (BRIC) received information from private sector public safety personnel at the Hynes Convention Center at 900 Boylston Street in District D-4 (South End) regarding threats of violence made over social media to attendees of the Pokemon World Championships,” a line from the release says.
“Security officers at the Hynes, officers in District D-4, and the BRIC immediately began investigation into these threats, and hours later, the two male suspects were stopped attempting to enter the event. BRIC and D-4 Detectives responded to further investigate,” the report goes on. “Detectives were informed that the suspects had driven to the event from Iowa and were in possession of several firearms in their vehicle. The suspects could not produce a License to Carry. Officers seized the vehicle, and the suspects were released pending a search warrant.”
It is a sad day for everyone when idiotic cretins will try and kill you for a choice in hobbies and entertainment paths we decide to dedicate our time to.
